Members of the Vantage Point Board Honored for Improving Lives for Seniors

In June at the 35th Annual conference on The Hidden Epidemic: Substance Use, Misuse, and Abuse in Older Adults the Maryland Gerontological Association President of the Board of Directors at Vantage Point, Ms. Virginia M Thomas, received the Lifetime Outstanding Achievement award for her work improving the quality of life for seniors in Maryland.

Along with Ms. Thomas, Ms. Marsha Ansel, board member, was one of three Howard Countians awarded with the Individual Outstanding Award in appreciation for all that she has done for seniors, her colleagues and the field of Geriatric Mental Health.
