SAGECare Platinum Certification Earned Again by Residences at Vantage Point

We are proud to announce that Residences at Vantage Point has earned SAGECare Platinum Level certification again. The highest level of certification attainable through the program. This important achievement highlights our continued commitment to inclusivity, respect and belonging for LGBTQ+ older adults. Each year, SAGE, the nation’s oldest and largest organization dedicated to LGBTQ+ elders, reviews long-term care and retirement communities for their inclusive practices. We are proud to be recognized once again by this respected national leader.
Commitment Reflected in SAGECare Certification
The SAGECare certification program sets a national standard for LGBTQ+ cultural competency in elder care. Through training, policy updates and ongoing review, communities like ours demonstrate inclusive values in both philosophy and practice.
Not only do we strive to meet these standards—we aim to exceed them. As a result, Residences at Vantage Point has consistently maintained SAGECare status since 2019.
Seven Years of Inclusive Excellence
For the 7th consecutive year, Residences at Vantage Point has achieved SAGECare certification. In recent years, we have expanded staff training, refined our policies and increased engagement with LGBTQ+ partners and advocates.
Why It Matters
We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and celebrated in their community. Moreover, that belief guides every decision we make. As a Life Plan Community, we serve residents of all backgrounds, identities and orientations. Therefore, receiving SAGECare certification means more than earning a badge—it reflects the values we live each day.
