A monument honoring Howard County veterans and military families will be built at the Vivian C. “Millie” Bailey Park in Columbia.
There have been several articles in the news regarding a campaign to construct a monument in Downtown Columbia by the Howard County Veterans Foundation. It is to create a physical location with a monument to honor the sacrifices of Veterans and their families for this nation.
