Residences at Vantage Point Announces Broadmead Management Transition

February 9, 2026

At Residences at Vantage Point, every decision we make centers on the people who call our community home. Recently, we announced that we are transitioning our community management from LCS (Life Care Services) to Broadmead. The Broadmead management transition marks an important milestone as we look ahead, strengthen our foundation and protect the resident-centered culture that defines life at Vantage Point.

For more than three decades, our community has served older adults through engagement, inclusion and resident leadership. Over time, we have grown alongside Columbia and the people who shape our campus each day. As a result of our board of directors’ review of Vantage Point’s long-term needs and future opportunities, after more than 25 years with LCS, the board selected Broadmead to assume management on July 1, 2026.

Why the Broadmead Management Transition Supports Our Future

Change works best when it grows from shared values, and that is exactly what will guide our partnership with Broadmead as we prepare for the years ahead at Residences at Vantage Point. Broadmead brings experienced local leadership and nationally recognized practices to our campus. Just as importantly, Broadmead operates with shared values, emphasizing integrity, stewardship and respect for every person who lives and works in the community.

Broadmead is well known for excellence in Health & Wellness and Dementia Care. The organization also maintains consistent CMS 5-Star quality ratings. Because of this, the board feels Broadmead can continue to support Vantage Point’s commitment to hospitality, service and resident well-being.

At the same time, Broadmead will help advance priorities residents already care about. For example, the organization will support sustainability through energy efficiency programs and campus stewardship.

What Will Stay the Same at Residences at Vantage Point

At its heart, daily life at Vantage Point will stay familiar, with the same routines and comforts residents value. Dining, wellness, programs and spiritual life will continue to bring connection and enjoyment to each day. In addition, independent living, assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing will continue to offer trusted care and comfort at every stage of life. Moreover, resident autonomy will stay central to our culture. As always, committees and engagement channels will give residents a meaningful voice in shaping community life and decisions.

We recognize the value of staff relationships and are committed to keeping them intact as well. That means residents will continue working with the same trusted team members who know them best.

Operationally, our executive director and health care administrator will be appointed by Broadmead. All other staff will remain employees of Residences at Vantage Point as they currently are. In short, continuity and familiarity will guide every step forward.

What Residents Can Expect Next

During the Broadmead management transition, operational systems will shift over several months. These will include finance, human resources and marketing platforms. However, residents will not see changes to services or commitments.

Likewise, Residency Agreement commitments will remain fully intact. Residents will not see any immediate fee changes to our annual, July 1 readjustments. As always, communication will remain a top priority. Residents will receive updates through email, the resident portal and monthly town hall meetings. Broadmead leaders, including CEO Jay Prince, will be visiting our campus throughout the transition offering residents the opportunity to meet leadership and share insights directly with them. In short, the community will stay informed, supported and heard at every stage.

A Mission-Driven Path Forward

Ultimately, the Broadmead management transition will reflect our board’s commitment to strength and sustainability. Broadmead will not replace our culture. On the contrary, the organization will build on what residents already value and protect what makes Vantage Point unique.

For decades, Residences at Vantage Point has served as a cornerstone of Columbia. The community celebrates diversity, engagement and resident voice. Now, with Broadmead’s leadership ahead, that legacy will continue to grow.

In conclusion, as we prepare for this next chapter, our focus remains clear. We will protect what residents value most. At the same time, we will build operational resilience and innovation. As a result, Residences at Vantage Point will move forward with confidence and purpose. Look for more details about the transition in the coming months or contact us with specific questions.
