Lillian has been a member of the Community Action Council. The Community Action Council of Howard County (CAC) serves low-income Howard County residents through four core program areas: food assistance, energy and weatherization assistance, housing assistance, and early childhood education.
Through Lillian’s efforts, the CAC has opened the Bauder Education Center, an early childhood education center in Long Reach Village Center which will provide preschool education to young students who would not normally be able to afford the cost of private preschools.
Please read the article, look for Lillian in the picture (She is wearing black slacks and a teal jacket.), and, if you have time, watch the video where County Executive Calvin Ball dedicates the center and Lillian actually has an opportunity to speak.
Scots Glen has always been very supportive of education with our support of students and families at Swansfield Elementary. Lillian has now taken this to another level.
Congratulations, Lillian! Your contribution will have a lasting impact on the education of many children in Columbia for years to come.
