New Free Food Pantry in Vantage Point Park

“Hunger and food insecurity are real and present in Town Center. It is distressing to know that some of our neighbors are hungry, and so the Town Center Board of Directors decided to do something about it.”

This week saw a gathering of Town Center board members, and other community members and leaders, including County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball, to dedicate the .

Vantage Point resident and Town Center Board Member Joel Broida has championed this project and was rewarded with the job of officially cutting the ribbon. The pantry is dedicated in his name.

Please drop off food if you can or take what you need. A description of what we can accept is on the pantry door (please do not leave expired or perishable foods).

The Free Pantry is now officially open to serve the community. Thanks, Joel.
