Senior Day 2026 at the Howard County Fair: A Fun-Filled Day for Older Adults

 Senior Day at the Howard County Fair returns Tuesday, August 11, 2026, offering older adults a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a beloved Howard County tradition. Adults aged 62 and older can enjoy FREE admission to the fair ALL DAY. Residences at Vantage Point is providing transportation to residents attending the fair, making it a convenient door to door event.  

At Residences at Vantage Point, we know that staying active and connected helps make life more rewarding. That is why we are excited to share this special opportunity with our residents, families, friends and older adults throughout Howard County. 

Enjoy Senior Day at the Howard County Fair 

The Howard County Fair celebrates its 80th year in 2026. Accordingly, this year’s event offers plenty of opportunities to make new memories. 

Adults aged 62 and older receive FREE ALL-DAY admission. In addition, the fair will host special Senior Day 2026 activities in the 4-H Activities Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. consisting of performances and games.  

The Howard County Office of Aging and Independence (OAI) and the Office of Disability Services (ODS) will also be onsite. Their information booths will feature free interactive activities and giveaways. 

So, older adults can enjoy both the fair’s traditional attractions and helpful community resources.

After visiting the 4-H Building, fairgoers can explore everything the Howard County Fair has to offer. 

For example, visitors can see farm animals and 4-H exhibits. They can also browse arts and crafts displays and enjoy midway games and rides. 

Of course, no trip to the fair feels complete without a classic fair treat. Guests can choose from favorites such as corn dogs, pit beef, cotton candy, ice cream and more. 

Whether you come for the exhibits, food, activities or simply the atmosphere, the fair offers something for everyone. Moreover, the event provides a chance to enjoy time with friends and family. 

A Great Outing for Older Adults
